Biography

Dr. England-Mason joined the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Calgary in 2018, following the completion of her PhD in Neuroscience at McMaster University. She completed her postdoctoral training under the mentorship of Dr. Deborah Dewey.

In early 2025, she became an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics. She is a member of the Alberta Pregnancy Outcomes and Nutrition (APrON) study team and co-lead of the APrON Neurotox study.

Dr. England-Mason’s research uses a Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD) approach to examining the associations between environmental factors and neurodevelopmental outcomes in children.
