Biography

Dr. England-Mason joined the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Calgary in 2018, following the completion of her PhD in Neuroscience at McMaster University. She is currently working with the Alberta Pregnancy Outcomes and Nutrition (APrON) study team under the mentorship of Dr. Deborah Dewey.

Dr. England-Mason’s research uses a Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD) approach to examining the associations between environmental factors and neurodevelopmental outcomes in children. Her program of research is supported through a Postgraduate Fellowship in Health Innovation provided by Alberta Innovates and a Fellowship provided by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
