Dr. Fabreau is deeply committed to addressing the healthcare needs of vulnerable populations, particularly refugees and migrants. He co-founded and co-directs Refugee Health YYC alongside Dr. Annalee Coakley, a comprehensive platform at the O'Brien Institute for Public Health dedicated to research, education, and innovation in refugee health.  Through RHYYC, Dr. Fabreau and Dr. Coakley collaborate with maternal health, family-focused, and pediatric researchers and clinical trainees to support innovative refugee and migrant health research in Canada.
