Francesca Zambolin

Biography

I hold a BA in Italian Studies from the University of Verona, Italy, and an MA in Romance Philology and Literature from the University of Trento. During my master's, I had the chance to come to Calgary as an exchange student, and this experience inspired me to apply for a Ph.D. at the University of Calgary in the LLAC-Transcultural Studies program. 

I am interested in women's works in the 20th century, film studies, history, and Italian contemporary literature with a focus on World War II literary works. I speak Italian and English, I have intermediate proficiency in French and basic knowledge of Spanish.
