Biography

Dr. Felippe Borlot is an epileptologist trained in both adult and pediatric epilepsy at the University of Toronto. Driven by a passion to improve care for people with epilepsy, he has focused his research on transitional care and epilepsy genetics. Over the past decade, he has published extensively on childhood-onset epilepsy in adults, genotype-phenotype correlations in rare epilepsies, and the diagnostic value of genetic testing. Dr. Borlot is committed to improving the lives of those with epilepsy. 

Dr. Borlot has received multiple awards for his work in epilepsy, including the CLAE Trainee Publication Award and research grants from the University of Toronto. He has also earned travel grants from the American Epilepsy Society and BioMarin for presenting at international conferences.
