Background
Biography
After graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) with a DVM in 2007, Erin spent 2 years as a mixed practice veterinarian in Pincher Creek, Alberta, followed by 4 years as a companion animal veterinarian in the same practice. She returned to the WCVM in 2013, obtaining and MVSc degree in diagnostic anatomic pathology in 2015, and completed a Senior Residency at the WCVM the following year. In 2017, Erin began working as a diagnostic veterinary anatomic pathologist with Prairie Diagnostic Services in Saskatoon. In 2020, Dr. Zachar joined UCVM as a Diagnostic Veterinary Anatomic Pathologist with the Diagnostic Services Unit.
