Biography

Erin Boylan (she/her) is a Research & Partnerships Coordinator with the Post-Secondary Mental Health and Well-Being Research & Knowledge Hub (Office of Institutional Commitments) at the University of Calgary. Her work focuses on transdisciplinary research coordination, partnership development, and knowledge mobilization to advance post-secondary mental health and well-being.

With over a decade of experience across community, clinical-adjacent, and research environments, Erin is skilled in translating research into practice and facilitating collaboration among students, researchers, clinicians, and community partners. She has completed graduate-level coursework in Community Health Sciences (Health Services Research). She is also a certified facilitator of suicide prevention and peer support training programs, including ASIST and safeTALK, and holds facilitator certification in QPR and Community Helpers. Her work is grounded in relational, equity-informed, and trauma-aware approaches, with particular interest in suicide prevention, upstream supports, and systems-level approaches to post-secondary mental health.

Erin is the parent of two young adults and brings both lived and professional experience with neurodiversity, as well as lived experience navigating youth mental health and substance use. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors with her dog, and activities that support balance and well-being.
