Biography

Erin Boylan (she/her) is a Research & Partnerships Coordinator with the Post-Secondary Mental Health and Well-Being Research & Knowledge Hub (Office of Institutional Commitments) and a Research Coordinator in the Department of Psychology at the University of Calgary. Her work spans transdisciplinary research coordination, partnership development, and knowledge mobilization to advance student mental health and well-being.

Erin contributes to a national SSHRC-funded study on resilience in the post-secondary context, supporting participant engagement, focus groups, and cross-site data coordination, as well as broader partnership-based research and knowledge mobilization initiatives.

With over a decade of experience across community, clinical-adjacent, and research environments, Erin is skilled in translating research into practice and facilitating collaboration among students, researchers, clinicians, and community partners. She has completed graduate-level coursework in Community Health Sciences (Health Services Research). Her work is grounded in relational, equity-informed, and trauma-aware approaches, with particular interest in resilience, suicide prevention, and upstream supports in post-secondary contexts.

Erin is the parent of two young adults and brings both lived and professional experience with neurodiversity, as well as lived experience navigating youth mental health and addictions. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors with her dog, and activities that support balance and well-being.
