Biography

Elnaz is a PhD candidate at Haskayne . Her research focuses on financial reporting, intangible capital, and capital market outcomes, particularly how intangible investments influence firm resilience, valuation, and lending decisions. She has received several competitive awards and research grants, including the CSI Research Foundation PhD Scholarship, the Haskayne PhD Research Excellence Award, and the CPA Research Grant, which she has held for four consecutive years. Elnaz was also recognized as the Best PhD Student Presenter at the 2025 CAAA Conference and has presented her research at leading international conferences. She actively contributes to the academic community as a peer reviewer for both conferences and scholarly journals.
