Biography

Dr. Elizabeth Keys is a CIHR and Honorary Killam Postdoctoral Fellow at Dalhousie University, where she is developing a user-centred eHealth infant sleep program. She is nationally certified in community health nursing and has advanced training in parent-child interactions and pediatric sleep. In her PhD research, Dr. Keys used a mixed methods approach to evaluate the effect of a parent-child interaction home visiting intervention (Play2Sleep) on infant sleep. Grounded in her practice as a community health nurse, Dr. Keys’ research program aims to promote healthy sleep patterns in families of young children to improve family health and optimize child development.
