Research
Areas of Research
Doug Strother's research is primarily focused on clinical trials of promising new treatments for several childhood cancers. In addition to neuroblastoma, he is particularly interested in developing better treatments for pediatric brain tumors such as medulloblastoma and atypical/teratoid rhabdoid tumors of the central nervous system. He serves as Co-Principal Investigator for two Children's Oncology Group studies for children with brain tumors.
