Biography

Professor Hughes was appointed to the Faculty of Nursing in 1981. She teaches adult health nursing in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Her areas of focus are the mechanisms of acute and chronic pain, women and chronic pain, integrative healing practices. Professor Hughes is a member of local, national and international associations related to pain.
