Biography
Dr. Danijela Piskulic leads and manages operations for the Hotchkiss Real-World Evidence (RWE) virtual data platform at the Hotchkiss Brain Institute (HBI). She also holds an Adjunct Assistant Professor role at the Department of Psychiatry. Danijela received her PhD in medical science in the Department of Psychiatry from the University of Melbourne, Australia, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in youth mental health under the mentorship of Prof. Jean Addington at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Calgary. In her role as the senior research scientist with the Cardiovascular Health and Stroke Strategic Clinical Network (CvHS SCN) at Alberta Health Services (AHS), Danijela advanced her knowledge in strategies applied by large and complex health systems to leverage advanced research skillsets in order to address persistent and multifaceted health system challenges. In the current role, Danijela is working to support health system and population-based research efforts across brain and mental health fields.
