Biography

I obtained my Master of Engineering from MIT in systems and supply chain – which is a fancy way of saying I do a lot of algorithm writing and process optimization. I am a partner at iota consultants a consulting firm. I consult in Supply Chain, Project Management, and Data Analytics in heavy manufacturing and technology. My work can include ensuring the Navy subcontractor has optimized its internal financial processes, writing predictive algorithms for Oil & Gas companies, or optimizing the supply chain of a global mine. I am also a sessional lecturer at the Dhillon School of Business, where I teach Supply Chain, Project Management, and sometimes Business Research Methods. I have a new supply chain textbook which is available through Stukent, my second textbook is on Project Management. My algorithm writing took me into the medical side where I am a cofounder and the current COO of VitaNova Tech, a fertility company in the US, where I wrote algorithms to better match surrogates and egg donors with intended parents. Further to that I am also currently completing my PhD in Cardiology at the Cumming School of Medicine where I am using my skills to optimize the UI of certain ECG software as well as create and roll out new clinical practices which use the improved UI.
