Dr. Cora Constantinescu is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Calgary, where she completed a Master's in medical education, specializing in the development of behaviour-changing educational curricula to better equip physicians to implement preventive health care measures in their practice (such as Antimicrobial Stewardship and Immunization Education for Vaccine-Hesitant patients). She has applied a behavioral change lens to her work in vaccination promotion and uptake. Dr. Constantinescu has developed vaccination education interventions for both the public and healthcare workers. Supported by two IPF Public Health Agency of Canada grants, she led a team of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and data analysts to develop a vaccine confidence toolkit for health care providers. This includes 5 newly developed, validated and accredited virtual simulation games to support vaccine communication in every day practice.
