A non-intrusive laser-based imaging technique known as PLIF was used to image hypersonic Mach 10 flow over a wedge (MSc) and thermally non-equilibrium Mach 5 flow over a blunt body (PhD), and post-processed to produce quantitative property measurements such as temperature & flow velocity. The data was acquired at facilities located at NASA Langley Research Center. This work was supervised by Dr. Craig Johansen.
