Biography
Dr. Clara Fallone received her BSc in Chemical Engineering with a Biomedical Option from the University of Alberta. After working a few years in industry, Dr. Fallone completed her PhD in Medical Physics at the University of Alberta. She went on to finish her residency with Dalhousie University and Nova Scotia Health in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Dr. Fallone then returned to Alberta and joined AHS to work as a medical physicist at the Arthur Child Cancer Centre. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, travelling, and dancing.
Research
Areas of Research
- Quantitative MRI
- MRI in Radiation Therapy
- Brachytherapy
Dr. Fallone's primary research interest is quantitative MRI. She is also interested in MRI in radiation therapy, more specifically, brachytherapy. In the future, this research could be used to improve diagnosis of disease and disease targeting.
