Biography
Cindy is a nurse practitioner at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre and has been in this role for 15 years. She primarily works with breast and Testicular/GU patients ranging from initial consultations for newly diagnosed patients, to survivorship care, to managing toxicities related to systemic treatments for adjuvant and metastatic patients. She is the primary provider for over 700 patients. Prior to becoming a NP, she worked in a variety of oncology based roles locally and internationally. Prior roles include Bone Marrow Transplant Coordinator, rural oncology nurse educator, in locations ranging from Nashville to Saudi Arabia. She has participated on various not-for-profit boards as she is interested in community engagement. Cindy enjoys working on various research teams with a focus on survivorship cancer care and virtual care.
