Biography
Dr. Chunlong Mu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Infectious Diseases, Cumming School of Medicine, and holds the Azrieli Accelerator Professorship in Microbiome & Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the University of Calgary, Canada. His research focuses on the role of gut microbiome and ketogenic therapy in pediatric neurodevelopmental disorders, including infantile epilepsy, autism, and ADHD. His work integrates interdisciplinary expertise in gut physiology, gut microbiome, mitochondrial biology, and neuroscience to understand how the gut microbiome influences health and to develop intervention and prevention strategies that improve child health and wellness.
