Chisara Agoha is a doctoral candidate in African History at The University of Calgary. Her research delves into the complex narratives of African women, focusing on their roles and experiences during the colonial era. Chisara examines the intersection of colonialism and prostitution in Eastern Nigeria, uncovering the social, cultural, and historical dynamics that shaped women's lives in this context. Her work contributes to a richer understanding of African women's history and the enduring impact of colonial legacies.
