Biography
I come from Nandom, a small town in the Upper West Region of Ghana, and I have always had a deep passion for teaching and learning language, particularly French. This passion was nurtured during my undergraduate studies, where I majored in French and took every opportunity to immerse myself in the language and its culture. During my Year Abroad program in France, I not only strengthened my proficiency in French but also took the initiative to study German in my free time, driven by a genuine curiosity for languages and cross-cultural communication.
My interests lie at the intersection of language, identity, and intercultural exchange. I am particularly fascinated by how language shapes thought and social interaction, and I look forward to exploring these themes further during my Master’s program at the University of Calgary.
Outside of academics, I enjoy listening to music, dancing, and engaging with people from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I believe that meaningful connections and shared experiences across cultures enrich both personal and professional life.
