Cecilia is the Senior Manager of Experiential and Work Integrated Learning at the Schulich School of Engineering, where she leads initiatives that connect engineering students with meaningful, career building experiences. She works collaboratively with students, faculty, and industry partners to strengthen pathways between higher education and future careers.
Before joining the University of Calgary, Cecilia held senior leadership roles in the energy sector, including Vice President of Human Resources. Her industry industry background includes roles in business operations, technical sales, field operations, as well as North America wide leadership in training, staffing and organizational development.
Her work is driven by a strong commitment to leadership development, equitable access to experiential learning, and building student competencies aligned with evolving labor market needs. She is passionate about fostering transferable skills and career readiness through innovative, high impact work integrated and experiential learning experiences.
Cecilia holds a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
