Biography
Caitlin is an academic librarian at the University of Calgary. She continues to hold numerous liaison responsibilities across campus, with past collaborations including the Schulich School of Engineering, the School of Creative and Performing Arts, the Haskayne School of Business and the Taylor Institute of Teaching and Learning. She currently collaborates with the Department of Psychology, the School of Public Policy and the Cumming School of Medicine. Caitlin's research interests in library and information studies include the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, discourses in Adult Learning, and the sociological, psychological and organizational principles of identity and belonging in higher education. She has an emerging portfolio in generative artificial intelligence for teaching, learning and research processes. In her collaborative work, Caitlin is a frequent co-researcher and mentor on scoping and systematic reviews in the social and health sciences.
