Biography

Dr. Stover joined UCVM in 2017. He is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Veterinary Diagnostic and Clinical Science. After graduating from WCVM in 2009, he worked in private practice as an associate veterinarian and practice owner specializing in rural mixed practice. Bruce continues to be active in practice, working as a locum and maintaining a dairy practice. Dr. Stover enjoys all aspects of mixed practice including small animal, cow/calf, dairy and equine. Bruce lives on a small acreage near Dogpound, AB with his partner Claire and their four horses.

In the DVM curriculum, Dr. Bruce Stover coordinates the following courses: Clinical Skills 1 (VM305) and Introduction to Veterinary Medicine (VM360). He also teaches in the courses: Clinical Skills 2 (VM405), Clinical Skills 3 (VM 505), Professional Skills 1 (VM307), Professional Skills 2 (VM407), Professional Skills 3 (VM507), Food Animal Medicine and Surgery (VM540) and Field Experiences in Areas of Emphasis (VM463).
