Background
Biography
Brandon Carroll studied French Studies at the University of Guelph and French Literature and Sexual Diversity at the University of Toronto. Since 2012, he has taught courses on a broad range of topics, from French-language to advanced literature study and creative writing. He also values experiential learning as a tool to provide students the opportunity to gain professional skills while simultaneously improving their French.
Brandon’s research interests include the teaching and learning of French as a second language, 19th-21stcentury French literature, life writing and queer studies. Outside the classroom, Brandon can be found walking his dog, preparing French and Indian cuisine, playing piano and listening to podcasts.
