Areas of Research
Dr. Goodyear has an active research program focusing on functional imaging of traumatic brain injury and epilepsy, as well as the interaction between the brain and peripheral inflammatory disease processes. His imaging studies include understanding how functional connections in brain change in the presence of these conditions as means to better understand these disorders as well as to assess treatment and predict patient outcomes.
