Electrode Interface Design for PEM Fuel Cells

• Lead structural and property characterization of ultra-thin cationic/anionic ionomer films to understand substrate
interactions and electrode interfaces.
• Design micro-fabricated devices for in situ ionomer thin-film characterization, enabling real-time performance
monitoring.
• Develop and functionalize carbon nanomaterials to improve electrochemical device performance in fuel cell
applications.
• Design, fabricate, and test MEAs with full cell assembly and electrochemical evaluation, integrating novel
nanomaterial synthesis
