Biography
Dr. Arti Modgill is an Assistant Professor (Teaching) of cultural studies and critical theory, film and visual cultural studies, and rhetorical communications. Her research interests include the cross-disciplinary discussion of the role of narratives in shaping understandings of the self and Other to evoke notions of belonging in multicultural societies, and the role of media, texts, and viewing practices in structuring everyday political, and cultural subjectivities.
