Biography
Dr. Arfan Afzal is a Principal Biostatistician at Syneos Health, and Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Calgary. He received his Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Calgary.
Dr. Afzal has extensive experience in research and statistical consultation within the health sciences setting and is involved in diverse public health research, including clinical trials. He enjoys teaching/translating technical concepts to non-statisticians at a more straightforward and more understandable level.
