Biography
My research interests are in identifying and understanding anthropogenic induced pressures on wild fish populations. I have conducted fisheries research in Europe and Canada with a focus on spatial, movement and behavioural ecology. I use big-data science to model individual, population and community responses to environmental change. I am currently conducting research on the impacts of anthropogenic processes (such as deforestation and land use change) and climate change on fish species occupancy changes across the Albertan Rocky Mountains. My main research goal is to reduce and mitigate against human-wildlife conflict by identifying and developing management strategies underpinned by empirical evidence.
