Biography
Dr. Angelica Petersen Dias earned her DVM (2015) and MSc in Animal Science (2018) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil and her PhD (2024) in Veterinary Medical Sciences from UCVM. Before moving to Canada, she spent five years in dairy practice and taught DVM students for more than three years in southern Brazil. Her work focuses on dairy cattle health and management, particularly infectious diseases.
