Ms. Angel Akinsete

Biography

Angel Akinsete is an International and Protocol Assistant with UCalgary International at the University of Calgary, where she supports international relations, protocol activities and the coordination of high-level visits and engagements.

With a background in International Relations, Angel brings a genuine interest in global affairs, cross-cultural engagement and building positive relationships. Her work includes coordinating visiting delegations, supporting the preparation of briefing materials, supporting institutional events and ensuring the many details behind international visits are handled thoughtfully and professionally.

Known for being organized and adaptable, Angel enjoys creating welcoming experiences for visitors while contributing to the behind-the-scenes work that helps international engagements run smoothly. She is especially interested in diplomacy, protocol, research and international partnership development, and continues to grow her experience across these areas.

Angel holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Calgary. She is passionate about continuing to build her career in international relations and contributing to meaningful global connections through thoughtful, well-coordinated engagement.
