Activities

We are studying kidney development in babies born prematurely and whether the use of medications such as indomethacin and gentamicin affect nephronogenesis. We are using stereological methods and a rat model to help answer these questions. Additional studies are investigating the role of COX in kidney development and the pathophysiology of acute kidney injury.
