Andrea is a master’s student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Calgary. Her research interests focus on Indigenous governance, territorial authority, and natural resource extraction in Latin America. She aims to explore how Indigenous governance systems conceptualize territorial stewardship and collective well-being, and how Indigenous communities resist and transform state-led extractive regimes.
