Biography

Dr. Andrea May Rowe, PhD, is the Director of Purpose and Impact in the Office of Institutional Commitments. Before joining the University of Calgary, Andrea served as the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Specialist at the Global Institute for Water Security and Global Water Futures at the University of Saskatchewan. Andrea is also the Co-Founder of Toronto-based consulting firm Feminuity that specializes in equity-driven approaches to pressing global problems. Andrea's work in comparative public policy has focused on gender equity in national innovation systems in Canada, Sweden, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and startups and scale-ups in Canada.
