Biography
Amy Mamadaliyeva began her teaching career as a Mandarin bilingual teacher with the Calgary Board of Education. She earned a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Pedagogy at Western University, where her pedagogical project explored traces of children’s play—messy, unfinished remnants—as invitations for creativity, inquiry, and connection. Her research interests include literacy and play, arts-based inquiry, and dramatic play to support second-language learning in primary bilingual programs.
