My research program, AWARE (Advancing Women's+ Health Through Actionable Research and Epidemiological Evaluation), focuses on understanding how reproductive health experiences impact long-term health outcomes for mothers and their children. My work examines how factors such as the timing of menarche, pregnancy complications like high blood pressure, and conditions such as endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome influence health outcomes over time. I explore how social, biological, and clinical factors interact to contribute to health disparities in mothers and their children. Ultimately, my research aims to generate new insights that inform health policies and interventions, with the goal of improving strategies to enhance the health and well-being of mothers, children, and their families.
