Biography

Dr. Ami Tint is an Azrieli Accelerator Assistant Professor in Neurodiversity & Intersectionality in the Department of  Psychology. She completed her graduate training at York University, her pre-doctoral residency at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).

Autism; Neurodevelopmental Conditions; Mental Health; Patient Engagement; Psychology

My research uses multiple methods to understand how to improve supports and services for and with people with neurodevelopmental conditions, with a particular focus on the mental health needs of Autistic girls and women. I study program development and evaluation with the aim of improving equitable access to care for neurodivergent people. I strive to achieve meaningful community partnerships and engage in coproduced research to inform clinical practice.
