Biography
Prior to joining the Vice-President Research Office (VPRO), Alexandra spent 8 years conducting clinical and pre-clinical research in the fields of neuroscience and neuropsychology.
Alexandra has extensive experience developing complex grant applications for provincial, federal, and international research funding opportunities. In her role as project manager with the VPRO, she works with faculty members from across the university who are pursuing high-impact, non-traditional research funding opportunities. Alexandra supports faculty in developing their applications and provides advice and guidance during the application process.
In addition to her role in the VPRO, Alexandra is the Program Director for Space-Defence Technologies Alberta (SDTech_AB). She oversees operations and reporting for this UCalgary-led, pan-Alberta initiative.
