Biography
Alexandra Ballos is an M.A. student in Political Science whose work focuses on Canadian and Comparative politics. Her research examines how narratives around identity, region, and development shape political discourse and democratic engagement in Alberta. She is also the founder of the Gravel Road Civics Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening civic engagement and democratic participation in rural and small-town communities. Driven by a deep commitment to democracy, Alex seeks to help build a more inclusive and politically empowered Canada.
