Biography
I am a PhD student in Religious Studies, working under the supervision of Dr. Carolyn Muessig. My research examines modern papal reception of Dante Alighieri, exploring how popes draw on his poetry and theology to address ecclesial reform, beauty, and public culture. Broader research interests include medieval theology, Christian mysticism, and the relationship between literature and theological authority. I hold a Bachelor of Theology and a Master of Divinity from Ambrose University and Seminary and I bring experience in teaching, research, and congregational ministry. Part of my scholarly work includes teaching theology and history in church communities in Calgary.
