Biography
Dr. Adnan Mansoor is a consultant Hematopathologist and Professor at the University of Calgary. He completed his undergraduate degree from Punjab University in 1983, earned a Fellowship from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Pakistan, and pursued further training at institutions like St. Thomas Hospital London (1991) and the National Cancer Institute at NIH, Bethesda, Maryland, USA (1992-1996). Prof. Mansoor completed his residency in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology at George Washington University (1996-2000) and a Hematopathology Fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2001.
His research interests primarily focus on blood cancers, including leukemia and lymphoma. His work has lead to the identification of novel diagnostic markers, the development of targeted therapies, and improved prognostic methods for patients suffering from these diseases.
