Biography

I am prepared to support future educators in all areas of teaching and learning competencies and am committed to supporting student achievement.

During my years as a principal, I have demonstrated my leadership skills in the development of program for the varied school communities. I have a great range of experience with different student populations and communities as well as strong abilities in each of the Leadership Quality Standard categories, particularly in the area of instructional and professional practice as well as ensuring a vision guides all decision making and actions to support students.  I hold a Master of Education in Education Administration degree from the University of Lethbridge.  My strengths include, creative thinking, problem solving, a strong visionary leader and ability to communicate with a diverse population.

These opportunities have strengthened my skills in working effectively with future teachers to support their instruction and to impact student learning.

It is my genuine belief that all students can learn, given a positive learning environment that welcomes exploration and enhances student confidence. It is my belief also that when students have a safe learning atmosphere, they look forward to attending school and become successful life-long learners. I am committed to working with future educators to develop and maintain an environment that is conducive for learning, the learning of students and adults.
