Abhi Aggarwal is a medical student at the University of Calgary, and a research associate with the Hotchkiss Brain Institute (HBI). With a profound interest in neuroscience, Abhi’s aspiration is to delve into the intricacies of the brain and uncover how neurons process information. He hopes to bridge the gap between medical practice and cutting-edge neuroscience research by developing specialized molecular tools and probes for comprehensive imaging of the brain. Abhi firmly believes that understanding the brain's inner workings is paramount for advancing healthcare and providing the best possible care to our patients.
